2024 Facility Condition Assessment

Before the county puts money into anything new, it makes sense to take stock of what we've already built. That's what this assessment is: a close, honest look at our existing buildings, barns, and infrastructure, walking through each one to see what's holding up well, what's starting to show its age, and what repairs or upgrades are coming down the road.

It's not about finding problems for the sake of it. It's about knowing where we stand, so decisions about repairs, upgrades, and new projects are based on the real condition of what's already here not guesswork.

A Facility Condition Assessments (FCA) evaluates the physical condition of a building, including its infrastructure, systems, and finishes, to identify deficiencies and prioritize repairs. By conducting a thorough assessment, of the current facilities that assigns a value to the current state of each building to assist in making the informed decision on the structures future.
