The crown jewel of the Washington County Fairgrounds, the Event Center opened in the Fall of 2002 to provide a first rate venue for wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations and other social events.
The airy and spacious interior features a cathedral ceiling, special effects lighting, and beaded board wainscoting thus providing a modern yet traditional feel to the space.
The Event Center can accommodate up to 500 people. The fully equipped kitchen features a restaurant style range, a walk in cooler, freezer and both deep and shallow sinks. Ample counter space and electrical outlets add to the convenience as well. The bar area features built in beer taps, a sink and ice maker. Parking is never a problem as the facility is surrounded by extensive parking lots to provide easy access.
