A Newly Upgraded Arena — Built for Safety, Comfort, and Better Shows
On May 21, 2025, we reopened the Washington County Expo Rodeo Arena after completing a series of much‑needed improvements designed to enhance safety, efficiency, and the overall event experience. These upgrades include:
- Completely updated arena paneling
- New and improved chutes
- Expanded and reorganized livestock holding pens
- Widened arena areas for better flow and accessibility
Each improvement was made with the safety of riders, the well-being of animals, and the comfort of guests in mind. Because of this improvement, our arena is now stronger, safer, and better prepared to host today’s events, from small clinics to large‑scale rodeos. And while this upgrade makes a meaningful difference, we know there’s more work to do, and we’re grateful to our community for supporting the continued improvements still to come.
